Our quest to provide honest food
We believe in crafting our food with the love and care you find in the heart of your home. We make our food from scratch, from raw ingredients we buy from ethical producers. Our passion is for delicious, healthy food – just like mother used to make!

- We marinate our chermoula chicken with chermoula pesto made in our kitchen using fresh herbs, spices, olive oil and lemon juice.
- We hand peel fresh garlic cloves.
- We soak and cook our own beans.
- Our muffins are made the way our grandmothers made them - we grate the carrots and apples; chop the nuts and dates; weigh, measure and mix real ingredients. There is no bought-in muffin mix here.
SANDWICHES
We change our sandwiches seasonally, although some have a permanent place on our menu due to popular demand. Sandwiches are made fresh on site every day. Sandwiches are made using various types of breads: health bread, sesame kaiser rolls, buttermilk rye (60% rye), 100% wheat-free rye bread. All our bread is made by Knead, Cape Town's finest artisan bakery.
WRAPS & SALADS
Our wraps and salads change seasonally and we try to keep a balance between bringing back the things everyone loves, and trying out new and exciting combinations.

Our salad dressing is good stuff - and handmade in small batches using extra-virgin olive oil to keep it fresh.

We have a selection of health juice combinations and smoothies to kick start your day, and give you energy for the afternoon. Freshly squeezed to revitalize your being.
HOT SIPS
Our ‘Puro’ coffee is Fair Trade accredited, and organic to boot. It not only tastes good, but does good too. And our famous all purpose pick-me-up, ginger, lemon & honey ‘Giluc’ is guaranteed to boost the system.
